A Private 2-hour tour of the hatchery, property, and a Boat Ride around Duxbury Bay. Aboard the boat you’ll be treated to a lesson in shucking and a whole bunch of oysters! Following the tour, a private table awaits you at The Raw Bar.

ABOUT THE FARM

Island Creek Oysters has a history that began in the early 1990's by Skip Bennett. He knew all along, that the cold, turbulent, salty waters of Duxbury Bay produced an oyster that chefs the world over would come to revere. They can now be found as the house oyster at Thomas Keller’s sister restaurants The French Laundry in Napa Valley and Per Se in New York City. They have been revered by food critics such as Sam Sifton and R.W. Apple. They have even been served at state dinners at the White House!

“For your event, we will provide our signature dory boat display, ice, supplies for shucking, sauces, friendly staff and product. Our crew of experienced shuckers will set up the boat, fill it with crushed ice, cover it with the freshest seafood, and shuck away while chatting with guests in a casual, Island Creek kind of way for an unforgettable raw bar experience. Many of our shuckers also work the farm so come with questions and expect amusing answers! Delicious, New England seafood at your teams’ fingertips with none of the hassle and all of the enjoyment.”
