Songwriting with Max from slenderbodies
Overview
In this class, you, and your group will tune in to get an inside look on the production process of creating a slenderbodies song. The audience will decide on samples, chords, melodies, and overall of structure of the strong while getting to hang out and dive deep into music with Max of slenderbodies.
This can be a single 90-minute class or broken into a three class series.
Single Class Overview: In this 90-minute class Max will pull back the curtain on his songwriting process. He will dive into an existing slenderbodies song and reverse engineer the creative process. While reverse engineering this song you will learn the fundamentals of songwriting and then use those core elements to create the first cut of a song together as a group. Participants will select the theme, vote on chords, and melodies, and be co-writers in this creative session.
Series Overview:
Class 1: Songwriting - See above.
Class 2: Producing - Here we will bring the song that was created in class 1 into the DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) and build it out.
Class 3: Mix and Mastering - Here we we will polish the full song that we built out in class two.
