Microgarden Workshop
Did you know you can grow delicious, healthy, and gorgeous herbs and veggies on your windowsill? Whether you have a black thumb or lack the space or skills to start a traditional vegetable garden, this class will blow your mind with a simple solution: a microgarden!
One of the most empowering and uplifting life skills I’ve learned is to grow my own food. I can’t wait to share the joy of planting and caring for your seeds, and watching them grow into delicious plants with you and your group!
About your host:
Laena is an avid urban gardener and micro-farmer, and will cover all the techniques necessary to create and maintain your beautiful mini garden, such as plant selection and planting tips; design considerations; watering and fertilizing. We'll ship beautiful kits directly to your team members, so your team will have everything they need to craft their very own microgarden together!
House Plants 101
Treat your team to a 60 minute workshop on getting started with and caring for House Plants! Participants will learn how to choose plants for their home or office; plant maintenance; creating and using grow lights to increase available light in their planting area; repotting plants; watering techniques and fertilizer requirements; pest identification and how to treat pests.
Succulent Terrarium Class
Green thumb or not… this class is for you! Enjoy this relaxed hands-on workshop where you’ll create a one-of-a-kind terrarium in an 6” glass container to bring the outdoors in.
Learn about the necessary ingredients and design for a happy and thriving succulent plant environment. Have fun customizing yours with the plants, sand, pebbles, moss, and other decorative items of your choosing.
All necessary supplies and tools provided-- even the plant! These little gardens are super easy to care for and exciting to watch develop over the following months and years.
