Paint and Sip with Rebecca Holland
About the Artist:
Rebecca Holland has been painting oil on canvas landscapes for nearly 50 years. Her passion has been driven by the natural beauty she sees in the fog and the light on the redwood forest, the ocean, and the farmlands of rural California where she lives and works. Her impeccable detail and technique are self-taught skills, honed from years of observing. As a child, Rebecca was inspired by the techniques of the classic European painters and their use of detail, but especially of light–light emerging from darkness. These early inspirations have matured into the landscapes filled with light for which she is known.
At Lobitos Creek Ranch, Rebecca paints, works with her horses, and is the art director at the ranch.
Session: Landscape Painting
In this 90 minute creative session you’ll learn a bit about Rebecca’s history and technique and get introduced to her studio on the property. You’ll then make your way to the back deck overlooking the hills of Half Moon Bay. Here when you arrive we’ll have all your necessary supplies along with a refreshing beverage and snack cart.
Hang out with your colleagues and relax in the fresh air while learning fun techniques and some history about the area you are in.

Supplies needed: All supplies will be provided. Don’t wear anything you’d hate to get paint onto accidentally it’s very difficult and some say impossible to get it out.
Activity Level: Very relaxing no strenuous hiking involved
