But this country completely transforms itself in the winter season and gets its unforgettable, exceptional Christmas vibe – something that even Netflix portrayed in its original series “Home for Christmas.” Just before the winter holidays, the atmosphere in the country becomes more alike to a fable or fairy tale.

One of the key elements of the Norwegian winter season is Christmas markets, renowned for their beautiful gifts, warming alcohol drinks, and cheerful ambience. Witnessing such a vivid, full of life and happiness event with your own eyes is priceless, beyond doubt.

Step Afrika! blends percussive dance styles practiced by historically African American fraternities and sororities; traditional African dances; and an array of contemporary dance and art forms into a cohesive, compelling artistic experience. Performances are much more than dance shows; they integrate songs, storytelling, humor and audience participation. The blend of technique, agility, and pure energy makes each performance unique and leaves the audience with their hearts pounding.

Chocolate Bark Workshop

Participants will learn about the various types of chocolate and candy-making techniques as you make crunchy sheets of milk chocolate and white chocolate bark. These decadent confections will be topped and garnished with colorful treats such as cinnamon, candy canes, almonds, pistachios and dried cranberries to name a few.

Gingerbread House Decorating Workshop

This session is led by one of our amazing chefs and is a hands-on edible craft event. We send you all the materials to make your own gingerbread house. Our instructor will give folks some inspiration but guests can choose to decorate their houses however they like.

Holiday Wreath Making Workshop

Participants will follow along as we design and create a festive and everlasting holiday wreath. Whether using materials from our curated kit or supplies gathered from attendee’s local stores, everyone will walk away with a masterpiece they will be proud to use year after year.
