Join a Swiss Saanen goat herd on a light guided hike for a morning of munching and stellar views. As you get to know the goats, you’ll also learn all about their contributions to the Ranch.

Take on the night and enjoy a twilight stroll with naturalists! Test your night vision while exploring the many adaptations of The Ranch’s nocturnal residents. This activity includes a light guided hike up the Horseshoe Loop trail, followed by some glow-in-the-dark fun.

A Bee’s Life
Experience the ancient magic of beekeeping through the lens of the Carmel Valley Ranch bees! Each class will begin in the Organic Garden, where you’ll go bee-hind the scenes to examine the connections between plants and pollinators. Then suit up and head into the Apiary for a closer look at The Ranch’s tiniest artisans in action.

Disc Golf Fun
This 9-hole, par-23 disc-golf course runs through a grove of mature California Coast Live Oaks, with views of the Santa Lucia Mountains, it’s fun and challenging for first-time players, advanced golfers, and anyone in between.

Sample honey infused with the aromatic flavors of our Organic Garden, as lavender, rosemary, lemon verbena, and more add a delicious twist to this sweet treat. You can even create your own blend to take home!

Head on up to the Hilltop to learn a little about livestock. Get to know farm animals from all around the world, from Scottish Highland cows to African Boer Goats and more. You’ll meet both the animals and the team that cares for them in this exciting and educational experience.

Scavenger Hunt
Explore The Ranch on your own time with this interactive self guided scavenger hunt. Once you find a code, hover your phone camera over it to unlock it. Scan the code at the Activities Kiosk in the Lodge to get started.

8:00am - Pickup at Mountain View HQ
9:30am - Welcome! Arrive at Caramel Valley Ranch/check in
10:00-12pm - ** Full team activity **
12:30-1:30pm - Optional Oyster Hour Shucking + Prosecco

1:30-4:30pm - ** Choose your own adventure **
5-6:30pm - Dinner at Valley Kitchen along while watching a slideshow of the days activities.
Choose from dishes like; Assorted Meats & Cheeses, Tuna Poke, Burrata, Vegan pastas, Gnocchi, Filets, Ahi Tuna and other local catches of the day.
7-8:30pm - Nocturnal Adventure or meet by the fire for s’mores and local wine!
Friday;
8:15-9am- Optional guided hilltop yoga or hike/stroll grounds
9:00-10am - Farewell breakfast at Valley Kitchen

11am - Transportation back to Mountain view HQ
